Susan Prihar has an Applied Physics Degree from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California. She worked as an environmental consultant for six years before becoming a full-time mom. In 2001, as part of her life’s journey, Sue completed the Certification Program at the New England School of Feng Shui. Once her children were older, she returned to environmental consulting for another nine years. In 2011, she returned to graduate school, obtaining a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut and has found her true passion as a middle school science teacher. She is currently working at Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford as both a science teacher and Science Program Coordinator. She is a huge advocate for inspiring young children, especially young girls, to embrace the sciences.
